Delete Your Account

Calcjaw is a mobile calculator app for trade professionals, published by NOTchip — the trading name of Raman Halder (sole proprietor), based in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. This page explains how to delete your Calcjaw account and what happens to your data.

Delete your account from inside the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from within the Calcjaw app:

1. Open the Calcjaw app on your iOS or Android device.
2. Tap the Settings tab (bottom right).
3. Tap Account (or Profile).
4. Scroll to the Actions section.
5. Tap Delete Account.
6. Confirm by tapping Delete Account in the alert that appears.

Your account and server-side data are deleted immediately. The action cannot be undone.

If you signed in with Apple, your “Sign in with Apple” token is also revoked so Calcjaw can no longer be associated with your Apple ID.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, or prefer to request deletion in writing, email us:

Subject line: Delete my Calcjaw account

Include:

• The email address (or Apple/Google account email) you used to sign in to Calcjaw.
• A short confirmation that you want your account and associated data permanently deleted.

We will verify the request from the email address on file and complete the deletion within 30 days of receipt. We will reply by email once the deletion is complete.

What gets deleted

When your Calcjaw account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed from our servers:

• Your account record (name, email, authentication provider, password hash if any).
• Your active sessions and authentication tokens.
• Any Calcjaw Pro cloud-synced calculation history and preferences associated with your account.
• Any anonymous session data linked to that account.

Data stored only on your device (local calculation history in SQLite, preferences in MMKV) is not affected by server-side deletion. To remove on-device data, uninstall the Calcjaw app from your phone, which clears its local storage.

What may be retained, and for how long

A small amount of data may be retained after account deletion for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or security reasons:

• Subscription and purchase records held by Apple (App Store) and Google (Play Store) are retained by those platforms according to their own policies — Calcjaw cannot delete them. RevenueCat (our subscription manager) retains a pseudonymous purchase record for up to 24 months for refund, renewal, and tax-audit purposes.
• Anonymous crash reports and analytics events that were generated before deletion are retained in aggregated, non-identifying form (no account ID attached) and cannot be linked back to you.
• Server logs (request logs, error logs) are retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging, then automatically purged.

We never retain account data, calculation data, or personal identifiers beyond what is described above.

Children

Calcjaw is intended for trade professionals and is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created a Calcjaw account, email support@notchip.com and we will delete the account.
